SKYPARK AT MARINA BAY SANDS SINGAPORE

It was a beautiful day with no rain in sight when we ventured to The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, one of Singapore's largest luxury shopping malls, with its contemporary, open design and breathtaking views of Singapore's city skyline.

I enjoyed sitting on the concrete steps at the back of the mall. There was a nice breeze and the river view was just gorgeous.

We didn't go there to shop but instead we went up to the Sands SkyPark that we'd heard so much about. There wasn't much of a crowd and no waiting in line, which was really great.

At last, we finally walked around the top of the famous SkyPark, which is one of the world's largest public cantilevered platforms.

And we did get a bird's eye view of the city and were able to enjoy and wander around without hordes of people!

What makes the SkyPark especially cool is that it has a restaurant providing alfresco setting.

And there's also the 150-meter infinity swimming pool, the world's largest outdoor pool at that height. However, the use of this facility is available to hotel guests only.

SkyPark souvenirs from a merchandise booth can also be found here.

Our tickets were purchased at the Marina Bay Sands box office and priced at S$20 for adults.
