The two suites we booked at Astoria Plaza were located on the 19th level of the hotel, overlooking the city. Thankfully, my elder sister is a club member so we got a room discount. Plus we were also able to ask for complimentary drinks (six cold glasses of iced tea).

And a plate of oranges awaited our arrival in our suite.

Its windows provided some natural light. The living room and bedrooms were wonderfully appointed with modern yet comfortable furnishings. The stylish zen-inspired setting made the room a tranquil respite from the blistering sun.

Each two-bedroom suite includes four single-beds, a kitchenette, a living room and a dining table. There are 3 LCD TVs in the room. This spacious suite can accommodate 4 guests comfortably. Maximum occupancy is 6.

And this is the second bedroom. Sorry peeps, my ate was already asleep when I took this shot. :)

Here's the kitchenette with electric stove, microwave oven, refrigerator and coffee/tea maker.

The little ones enjoyed the hotel's outdoor swimming pool.

The hotel has restaurant and bar called Cafe Astoria on the first level. Room rates are inclusive of complimentary breakfast for four.

However, we experienced some drawbacks of the hotel. Upon arrival, only one room was available (even we had already made a booking prior to our visit). We were told to wait before we could check into our 2nd suite. We had finally got the other room at 5:00 pm already; thankfully, we were too busy chitchatting that we hardly noticed it. Second, the bathrooms are a little bit outdated. And lastly, the walls are quite thin, you can hear the noise in the hallway. But other than that, we were delighted at this place, most of all best deal for a small gathering.
Astoria Plaza is a full service residential suite, located at the commercial and business district of Ortigas Center. It is strategically located within a short distance to Podium, Megamall and Shangri-La, and some medical centers.
