Taipei, Taiwan Travel (Day 1)

👫 This was our day 1 in Taipei. We booked our stay at Green World Hotel Zhonghua and got the Exquisite City View Twin Room with two single beds (Php 5,600 a night). It was a nice hotel in a good location near Ximending.

We arrived at the hotel early and our room wasn't ready yet so we decided to roam around Ximending.

We stumbled upon a Miniso store and we popped in for a quick look around the shop. (see the video) We saw Kaonashi loitering around the area. If you have watched the film "Spirited Away" created by Studio Ghibli, you'll definitely know this spirit with no face.

Also, we managed to find Ah Mao's Stone Pot Risotto restaurant offering different kinds of risotto dishes.

We were able to take a photo of Ah Mao, the golden retriever who was guarding the entrance of the restaurant.

We went back to the hotel and waited for more than an hour to get our room. After resting and unloading our things, we took Uber to drive us to Guang Hua Digital Plaza as we were looking for a new model of Besta electronic dictionary but to no avail.

Afterward, we called Uber again to go to The Eslite Spectrum. This is a multistory complex housing an Elite Bookstore, music and vinyl record shop, food court, and most of all packed of independent merchants offering a wide range of products. There are handcrafted and DIY workshops as well.

This was an amazing place to shop and we enjoyed browsing here. This is a must-visit place if you're into shopping. Oh, by the way, if you have a minute please subscribe to my YouTube channel. Thanks.
