ALLSON-GENESIS HOTEL

We arrived at Allson-Genesis Hotel around 10:30 pm already. After we checked-in, we went out and looked for a restaurant but since it was already late we decided to have our dinner at the hash house beside the hotel. And we tried this "Hookien Fried Mee", an egg noodles fried in dark soy sauce with veggies and lots of other stuff like squid and sausages.

Hookien Fried Mee

It was just okay but a little too oily for my taste. So, after we had our meal we looked again for another restaurant and ended up eating at KFC. :)

Aside from 1 night at First World Hotel in Genting Highlands, we spent 4 nights at Allson-Genesis, the business boutique city hotel located in the heart of Golden Triangle in Bukit Bintang area. It has a quite good location, near the shopping centers, cafes, clubs and entertainment hubs. Hawker stalls are just at the back of the hotel, and near LRT station which is just five minutes by walk.

All rooms feature central air-conditioning, color TV with international satellite channels and in-house video, IDD, teleports for internet access, Internet broadband, electronic in-room safe, mini fridge and complimentary coffee and tea-making facilities.

The hotel buffet breakfast was laid out nicely, but the food was only so-so. To top it all, our last night stay in the hotel was a headache. We were kept wide awake until midnight due to noise coming from the next room. We could hear the boisterous laughter, the cling clang noise of glasses and offensively earsplitting voices as if they're having a party and gambling session. Where do these ignorant freaks come from? After knocking twice and getting no reply, we decided to call the hotel security just to get their attention.

Allson-Genesis Hotel is located at No. 45, Tengkat Tong Shin, Bukit Bintang, 50200 Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Internet Rates as of 2007 (From RM 175 to RM420 (Superior to Penthouse Suite)
