SUNDAY BRUNCH AT M CAFÉ
SHARE THIS ARTICLE:Place was fairly occupied when we got there. Diners were mainly locals but I noticed quite a number of foreigners also hanging out. We decided to dine alfresco, where tables and chairs are well arranged giving us some much needed privacy. Interiors are nicely done with hanging fiber glass balls and some Filipino contemporary art decor, which gives the place somewhat a classy look but in a casual atmosphere.
We were seated near the door at a large rectangle table, overlooking a landscaped garden with a bevy of slender trees and a gleaming fountain and pond. They had great live jazz music playing, which added to the mood and made the experience more delightful.
Soon we perused the buffet lines serving some breakfast and several varieties of traditional Asian lunch cuisine. From the minute we sat down, the waiter rushed, unfolded the napkin and placed it on our lap. Hmm, I'm never used to have this kind of pampering. :)
A little later, we asked for another table inside the air-conditioned glass-enclosed café as the harsh noonday sun glared down on us. If I'm not mistaken, there are about 11 tables only inside the café, and are arranged so close to each other where you could easily eavesdrop on conversations.

I think the second floor is for private functions.
I have a minor issue about the ladies restroom, which is a tad strange for such a nice restaurant. They need to repair or fill the hole with patching plaster in the wall surface beside the water closet. Also, they should do something about the large gap between the slightly tinted frosted glass door and the side panel. Toilet cubicle should be fully enclosed for complete privacy since it's a communal room. ;)
But other than that, we were delighted by the beautiful combination of good food and soothing live jazz music. This hodgepodge of tastes is outstanding that would keep us coming back.
Brunch Buffet is served only on Sundays, from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. The Museum Café is located on the ground floor of the Ayala Museum's Glass Wing, Makati Avenue corner De la Rosa St. Makati, Philippines.
Belated Happy Birthday Nil and thanks for the treat! :)
