BITE 2 EAT

Just after we got all settled in the hotel, we did a little exploring the nearby area. We managed to stop in at Bite 2 Eat, a no-frills pizza eatery very much off the beaten path.
We were a bit skeptical as it looks like an unmanned eatery, and the storefront was all covered with a huge white tarpaulin. Hb tried to peek through the door when a man suddenly appeared. It turns out that there is a surveillance camera at the front door where they can closely monitor customer trends - who comes and leaves.
the hanging tarpaulin covering the entire store
I like these cute neat looking white pizza boxes. :)

Bite 2 Eat has a unique open-air setting. (Whoever came up with this idea was clearly very innovative.) There are only two tiny tables outside. Each table is only good for two people. Part of the ambiance is the music coming from the MP3 player connected to speakers.
They have a varied pizza selection. Here's what we had.
This unassuming eatery offers very good pizza. It's a nice place to stop for a quick and inexpensive bite. Great also for take-out. If I remember it right, Bite 2 Eat is just two blocks away from Grand Hi-Lai Hotel.
