After an hour, I was left alone in the hotel when HB decided to meet up with his friend.

I wasn't really feeling well at that time. So, I was happy to be able to keep my pajamas on again for the rest of the day. I bundled myself in layers, curled up in an armchair next to the huge glass window, sipping a steaming coffee and nibbling on my huge subway sandwich while watching the crowds hanging out on the street of Nanjing Lu.

It gave me plenty of time to do some serious people watching. In fact, I had a good time people watching despite my condition.

And then I got bug-eyed for endless hours watching TV while waiting for HB to come back. Ho hum... What a sedentary trip!
