Tempting our Taste Buds

I've been meaning to post this, so let's rest for a while about our Japan trip. On a Sunday, we first grabbed lunch at Super Bowl of China and I did a bit of shopping at Me & U (a couple-themed shop) before going to St. Marc Café located at SM Megamall's Mega Fashion Hall. St. Marc Café is a newly opened patisserie and coffee shop from Japan. We just had Matcha Latte large (P170), Strawberry Smoothie small (P160) and another beverage that I forgot. We also tried one of their most popular Japanese parfait desserts - the Kyoto Delight (P250). It's a matcha ice cream with an array of toppings which is best shared by two. Next time, we'll try their well-known signature product - the  Chocokro.

On a spur of the moment decision we agreed to have our dinner at Gloria Maris Sharks Fin Restaurant. Without a moment to spare we jumped into the car heading to Grennhills Shopping Complex. Gloria Maris offers authentic and delish Chinese cuisine. The selection is outstanding. We opted to have a Crispy Fried Chicken 1/2 (P505), Mapo Tofu (P378), Fish Fillet with Garlic (P 430), Salted Fish Fried Rice (P280) and Beef Rice Roll (P175). Obviously lots of Chinese patrons were dining, which is a good sign. This place is huge with several function rooms on the upper floor. Nice venue for birthday parties, anniversary celebrations and other social events.
