A popular shopping area in Osaka for the younger groups is Amerikamura (American Village) that has many boutiques and cafes. It is considered Osaka's counterpart to Harajuku in Tokyo. Although the area has many "American" themed shops, you can also find some clothing and thrift stores selling tribal/bohemian/reggae fashion here. Amerikamura is located near Shinsaibashi in the Minami district of Osaka.
