Le Jardin Manila Closing Its Doors

Then one afternoon, completely out of the blue, we decided to go to a well-known French restaurant. Thankfully, we had an exquisite fine dining experience at Le Jardin Manila, a garden-inspired space at the Penthouse (27th floor) of the W Building in Bonifacio Global City.

Each of us ordered the "3 Courses" that costs around (P2,200 + 10% service charge). Our meal consists of 1 Entree Aux Choix (choice of one starter), 1 Plat Principal Aux Choix (choice of one main dish) and 1 Dessert Aux Choix (choice of one dessert).  Not only that, all set courses include freshly baked bread paired with butter, amuse bouche, palate cleanser, and their house-made cheeses. Each course was a surprise. Everything was good and wonderfully flavored except for dessert, which was too sweet. (I accidentally deleted some of the dessert photos on my camera.)

Amuse Bouche and our different choices of warm and cold appetizers -  Coquilles St. Jacques Poelees Puree de Pommes de Terre Aux Truffes (Seared Scallops Truffled Mashed Potatoes, Assiette de Trois Foie Gras (French Duck Liver Three Ways), Queue de Homard Et Boudin Noir Puree de Pommes de Terre (Atlantic Lobster Tail and Blood Sausage with Potato Puree) and Tartare de Homard Au Pamplemousse (Pomelo Lobster Tail Salad)

Le Jardin Manila House Made Cheeses

Palate cleanser and our main dish choices - Soumon Grillee Sauce Roquette (Char-grilled Salmon with Arugula Sauce), Filet de Boeuf Sauce Au Poivre (Grilled US Beef Tenderloin with Pepper Sauce), and Souris D' Agneau (Braised Lamb Shank)

Salade De Canard Confit (Duck Confit Salad) (free choice of 1 appetizer for BPI card holders)

Fondant Au Chocolat (Moist Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream)

We were a bit shocked to hear from our lady server that the restaurant will shut its doors on December 30. But according to them, they will be moving to 2 new locations with new dining concepts within Bonifacio Global City very soon.

We were so glad that we decided to come here before Le Jardin Manila says goodbye for good.
